Come and support us at our AGM on zoom! This year we’ll be presenting a new constitution to fit in with the new Incorporated Societies Act 2022 replacing the old 1908 act. As we last updated our constitution in 2021, there won’t be many changes however. If you would like copies of the agenda, constitution and reports in advance, please let us know.
2pm: Food labels and packaging talk
What should you look for when you read a food label? How can you judge the quality of a food from its label? And should packaging influence your choices? In this presentation, you’ll be asked to choose between food items based on their labelling, while considering ingredients, additives, and the nutrition panel when deciding what to buy. Presenter Alison White is Co-convenor of the Safe Food Campaign.
